A Morning Routine to Get You EXCITED for Your Day
When I woke up this morning, I was so pumped and excited about my life, I just had to take a minute to share some of the techniques I use. These are things I have incorporated into my morning routine which has lead to a difference in my overall attitude and excitement for the day. My attitude was good before and now, with some modifications to my morning routine, my attitude is fabulously phenomenal!
So as soon as I wake up, I am pumping my fist or doing some type of hand motion saying how outstanding and great today is, such as, “I am grateful to be alive and have the abundance around me.” I look at my wife and she is usually sleeping still. She is so beautiful when she is sleeping. Sometimes she is awake and looking at me like I am crazed. It does not matter, we will laugh about my fist pumping.
Then I go straight to my office and power up the computer. I am running in place, jumping around getting every part of my body awake and blood flowing to each part. I am saying things like, “Body moving, I believe, blood flowing, I am going to take on my world today, I am the man.” I will extend my arms straight up in the air, hands shaking, giving thanks to my creator above, looking straight up. Then I will do a few exercises in reps of 20, which is related to my monthly sales goal. In between, I am running in place and saying those things again. A little stretching as I am finishing up.
Then I open my notebook and read my affirmations. There are 3 groups: business, personal and money. I read them with conviction. Some will bring a smile to my face, some will choke me up and some will make me laugh. By now my computer is up and I am ready to watch a few videos.
The first is credited to Roger Seip and Katie Brandt for finding and sharing it: Motivational Video #1
This one gets me feeling extremely grateful to be alive and to be me. Usually brings a tear to my eyes.
Here is the second video I watch: Motivational Video #2
This gets me excited and focused on attracting money into my life and business.
Not everyday, but sometimes I watch: Motivational Video #3
It makes me feel grateful about the beauty around me.
And then this one, which I just found: Motivational Video #4
It is pretty motivating.
If I have not teared up yet, this one does it every time: Motivational Video #5
Before I start conducting business for the day, my routine finishes up with a little bathroom time with Og Mandino and “The Greatest Salesman in the World.” I randomly open up the book towards the back where the scrolls are. I feel that my creator is picking the scroll that I need to read today. Then I am ready to take on anything that comes at me today.
To recap, I am waking up and energizing every part of my body, mind and soul. These activities do it for me. Other activities will work for others, however experiment with them until you find your combination, it is well worth it the effort.
Thanks for letting me share with you all.
