Fear Disappears when you are Grateful

What do you do to confront fear? I have a suggestion – practice gratitude. Tony Robbins says, “When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.” It is so true, gratefulness removes fear.

You have probably heard Oprah talking about keeping a gratitude journal. Coaching programs that I have taken part in talk about the gratitude principal and I recently heard a sermon on the topic of changing pleading into thankfulness.

We at Freedom Personal Development talk about thankfulness and gratefulness all the time, and yet as much as it is common knowledge that gratefulness has so much power, we often do not do it. Why is that?

I believe one of the reasons are the habits we have created in our lives. It does take some work to change a habit, but not much. Here is a way I have found you can change your habits.

So I have a challenge for you today and everyday:

Write down 3 things you are truly thankful and grateful for. Post them in the comments section below or just jot them on a piece of paper.

Report back on your results too. I bet you will be amazed that when you express your gratitude, any fear in your life disappears and in its place you will find abundance. The more you are thankful for, the more that you are given.

In my coaching of other people, I find that when they are afraid, they hold onto things because they are afraid to lose it. They are afraid to confront the fear and opportunities slip through their fingers.

Then, when these same people recognize the good and are grateful for things in their lives, it seems that they have trouble handling all of the positive opportunities that come their way.

Write 3 things a day that you are grateful for and see how much more abundance you find!

  1. I have to say this is a very powerful exercise. I have a good friend that I do this with every morning. We have been doing it for a few years now and rarely do we miss a day! We start out each day emailing each other what we are truly grateful for and it sets the tone for the day.

Being present to gratitude wipes away all of the cob webs and crap that we are present to. All of the fear DOES really disappear and you are left in the space of love, appreciation for what you have which can only manifest more of that.

I am grateful that more people are talking about this and people are finding peace in their lives.

    Thanks for letting me share.

    Have a grateful day!

    Caren :)
