6 Free Memory Games

Test and strengthen your memory with six free memory games at the Memory Gym.   You can choose your difficulty level, set memory goals and track your progress all on this interactive site.

These memory games are a great way to practice the Mental File Folder System or the Chaining and Linking techniques taught in the Memory Training Workshop.

Memory Games

Flashing Numbers:
Random numbers automatically generated and flashed at you! Can you remember them all?

Increase and practice your skill of memorizing written phone numbers, extensions, product codes, inventory levels, MLS numbers, social security numbers, credit cards numbers, passport numbers etc.

Spoken Numbers:
This site will speak ‘em, you store ‘em! How many can you store in your head?

Increase and practice your skill of memorizing spoken numbers.  Extremely helpful for memorizing information given over the phone while driving, such as phone numbers.

Flashing Cards:
Keep practicing this one and you’ll be able to memorize a pack of playing cards!

Increase and practice your skill of memorizing a deck of cards to increase your odds at games such as Blackjack, Bridge, Spades or Hearts.

Flashing Shapes:
If you can memorize these, you can memorize almost anything!

Increase and practice your skill of memorizing concrete information such as shopping lists, things-to lists or information for exams.

Flashing Words:
If you can master this, you’ll be able to do your shopping without a list written on paper!  Also available in German, Vietnamese and Italian.

Increase and practice your skill of memorizing foreign languages and concrete and abstract information.

Count The Dots:
See how fast you can count the dots!

Improves reading speed and short term memory skills.

  5. Thank you for the heads up on Memory Gym. I am a cyclist and I work out a lot. I do work out my brain as well, I often answer a lot of online IQ tests, puzzles, games etc. My daughter and I play Hangaroo together, we love that one. I will be sharing the games at Memory Gym with her.
