The Tree List

Roger SeipWe often have graduates of the Memory Training Workshop contact us a few months after their workshop and request a refresher on one or two images from the Tree List. I thought I would post the entire Tree List, 1-20, on our blog so you will always have a handy reference if an image slips your mind.

Before we get to the tree list, I wanted to give a quick reminder to all Memory Training Workshop Graduates. As a graduate, you are a lifetime member of the Memory Training Workshop. This means you can attend any future Memory Training Workshop free of charge. Take a look at our National Workshop Schedule to find a workshop in your area.

To enroll, call 888-233-0407 or email info@deliverfreedom.com

  1. I was estatic when I finally got the list down forwards, backwards and out of sequence.
I began to listen to the advance numbers cds. and is taking a lot longer to master, however I am sure that it will help me in every area of my life.

  2. Great Francisco! Glad to see you on here! You are one of the nicest people I have met and I know you will succeed in whatever you do. Great job on persisting with developing the skills. Please let us know if we can help.

  4. Eddie-
You may recall from the workshop that the Eddie Munster story is a great confidence booster, and the images can be used as pictures for people’s names. The axe story can be used as a visual representation of the Quadratic Equation. If you would like, feel free to email me directly at roger@deliverfreedom.com . Be Free!

  6. I checked myself against the three list and I happy to say that I have it down
    backward and forward.
I actually surprise myself on how many things I can remember. My current challenge is
to find images for names because of not being born here I find it more difficult to
relate to some typically American images such as “cup of Joe”

  7. [...] getting it quickly. Raleigh and I review the list of 20 that you gave us at the beginning of class [the tree list] for fun, and I still get caught on the same two numbers. I am sure it is because I am not a dice [...]

  8. I haven’t attended your workshop, but I was looking for this tree list because I heard it once, and I just want to say thanks for sharing it here! It was really easy to memorize, took me just 10 minutes or so and then another 5 minutes later to repeat and I got it down. I don’t know who invented it, but it’s great!

  9. This list ist stupidly easy to learn. A tree stands alone (1), a switch has 2 options: on and off. A stool usually has 3 legs. The list goes on like this throughout. Takes no effort do learn that one really. Try one with no connections between the words and the number they have in the list. Now, *that* would be something to be proud of. Try for example the list Derren Brown gives in his book “Tricks of The Mind”. See how fast you can really learn that one:
    1. Telephone
    2. Sausage
    3. Monkey
    4. Button
    5. Book
    6. Cabbage
    7. Glass
    8. Mouse
    9. Stomach
    10. Cardboard
    11. Ferry
    12. Christmas
    13. Athlete
    14. Key
    15. Wigwam
    16. Baby
    17. Kiwi
    18. Bed
    19. Paintbrush
    20. Walnut
